The acquisition of PartsRepublik by Goedhart Motoren formed the foundation for a unique technical challenge: integrating a massive database of more than 3.5 million OEM parts and thousands of technical drawings into their own webshop. Where customers previously struggled to find the right part, the new solution — developed in collaboration with Koen de Haan, former manager of PartsRepublik — now delivers a fast and intuitive experience. Customers can select their motorcycle by brand, year, and model, view interactive exploded-view diagrams with clickable hotspots, and order parts directly. Thanks to a smart connection between MySQL, Akeneo, and Magento’s Vehicles module, thousands of parts are automatically mapped to the correct models.

Collaboration and results

The collaboration between Zaahed and Koen proved essential: Zaahed led the technical implementation, while Koen contributed his in-depth knowledge of the PartsRepublik system and managed the setup on Goedhart’s side. The result is a scalable, high-performance webshop offering a parts experience comparable to PartsRepublik — but now fully integrated into Goedhart’s own platform.
