Where it adds value, we reach out to your current maintainer for context on the state of the project, peculiarities and historical decisions we can't pull from the code. Cancelling your contract with that party is your decision and your relationship. That's not something we get involved in.

No minimum duration. Leave any time it doesn't click.We rarely see this. Most parties cooperate professionally during a handover, since it's in their own interest to wrap things up cleanly. Should it get tense: code and data belong to you. We can complete the takeover without their cooperation, based on the code review and the input you give us.
We work in parallel, never directly on your live shop. In 25+ migrations we had 0 downtime events. If anything is noticed after the switch, our project managers, DevOps and developers stand by to fix it immediately. No queue, no ticket cycle.
No minimum contract duration. You can always leave. We'll look for a solution if you're unhappy with something, but you're never locked in.
That's why we start with a code review. We document upfront what we can take over, what needs rebuilding and what we expect. Complete certainty doesn't exist. Sometimes a surprise sits deep under the hood. But you go in far better prepared than without the review.
We accept a maximum of 2 takeovers per month to safeguard quality. If the schedule is full, we'll be honest about it and plan you in at a later date.
