    First we look under the hood

    We map the state and complexity of your shop. Senior Magento review delivers a management report: where the risks are, how complex the codebase is, and what that means for the takeover.

    A short line with your current maintainer

    Where it adds value, we ask your current maintainer for context: the state of the project, peculiarities and historical decisions we can't pull from the code.

    Cancelling with your current party stays your decision and your relationship; we stay out of that.

    Your live shop keeps running. We build alongside

    We set up your shop on our Magento-optimised infrastructure next to your live environment. Tests, validation and stabilisation happen before any customer notices a thing.

    The switch itself takes around 5 minutes, at an agreed moment. A monitoring window of 1-2 weeks follows, and the rollback path stays temporarily available.

before the leap is taken

What if my current partner makes the handover difficult?

We rarely see this. Most parties cooperate professionally during a handover, since it's in their own interest to wrap up the handover in good order. Should it get tense: code and data belong to you. We can complete the takeover without their cooperation, based on the code review and the input you give us.

What if you break something during the switch?

We work in parallel, never directly on your live shop. In 25+ migrations we had 0 downtime events. If anything is noticed after the switch, our project managers, DevOps and developers stand by to fix it immediately. No queue, no ticket cycle.

What if the code is a real mess?

That's why we start with a code review. We document upfront what we can take over, what needs rebuilding and what we expect. Complete certainty doesn't exist. Sometimes a surprise sits deep under the hood. But you know upfront what percentage of the codebase needs rebuilding, not only after go-live.

What if you're too busy for my project?

We accept a maximum of 2 takeovers per month to safeguard quality. If the schedule is full, we'll be honest about it and plan you in at a later date.

For that we created code review. We combine AI-assisted analysis with senior Magento review to map the state and complexity of your shop. You receive a report in management language: what are the risks, how complex is the codebase, and what does that mean for the takeover. For a separate code review we charge €480.

The Vendic Takeover runs while your customers shop. Thanks to our own infrastructure, we can carry out the work with zero downtime in the background. When your improved webshop is ready, you switch over permanently. This usually succeeds within a few weeks.

Your shop transitions to Magento Maintenance: an ongoing service with a monthly budget agreed upfront. We set the scope based on what we found during the Takeover: no more than needed, no less than responsible. You know what you pay per month, upfront.

Nearly everything can be solved. The real question is usually which trade-off is acceptable in time and budget. We're transparent about that upfront.
