Since 1975, Maxima has supported chefs, culinary professionals and resellers worldwide with high-quality kitchen equipment. In 2008, the brand took a big step by launching its own line – an affordable alternative to the big brands, without compromising on quality and service.
In this project, we realized an extensive and dynamic webshop with a focus on customization, speed and user-friendliness. The frontend was originally developed on Luma and later seamlessly transferred to Hyvä, resulting in a faster and more efficient user experience.
Maxima serves a diverse customer base, ranging from hospitals and schools to shawarma tents and Michelin-starred restaurants. Additionally, there are many dealers and resellers who purchase and resell products. This required a webshop with different functions per user type, including advanced bulk order functionality and a custom quote system.
Dealers and end customers get a unique experience when logging in with customized content, product offerings and prices per customer group.
For dealers including SKU upload and CSV import, with different payment options per customer group.

Automatic exclusion of specific postcode ranges, for example for deliveries to islands.
With automatic reminders and pay later via Mollie for flexible payment options.
